Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Coastal Aesthetics and Wellness handles information in connection with this marketing and lab-ordering website.
What this site collects
- Cart selections — stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so your lab cart can persist during a visit. We do not receive that cart data on our servers from this static site.
- Basic technical data — our hosting provider (Vercel) may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested.
Lab orders and health information
When you continue to Fullscript Labs to order panels, payment, account registration, requisitions, draw scheduling, and protected health information are processed on Fullscript’s HIPAA-oriented platform under Fullscript’s own privacy practices. This marketing site does not host your lab results or Fullscript account.
Atlas.md patient communications
If you enroll or sign in through Atlas.md, Atlas.md asks you to agree to communication preferences. Atlas.md documents that patients may opt in to receive messages over methods that are not HIPAA-compliant, including SMS/text and email. Those channels may not be encrypted, and a third party could conceivably access them. Billing-related emails (invoices, payment confirmations) may still be sent by Atlas.md. Do not send sensitive health details by unencrypted text or email if you have not agreed to those channels, and never use them for emergencies. Atlas.md’s terms and privacy policy govern that platform.
Patient care records
If you become a patient of the practice (for example through Atlas enrollment or a clinical visit), your medical record is maintained under our clinical privacy practices and applicable law, separate from this website’s local cart storage.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site may use essential storage for cart and preferences, and a service worker for installable/PWA behavior. We do not currently run advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Third parties
Third parties linked from this site (Fullscript, Atlas, social platforms, font providers, and hosting) have their own privacy policies. Review theirs before sharing personal information with them.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this marketing site.
Your choices
You can clear your browser’s local storage to remove cart data. For privacy requests related to Fullscript accounts or clinical records, contact Fullscript or the practice through your patient channels, as appropriate.
